Rest
Here’s to restorative rest.
This month I’ve consciously slowed down, took time for long baths, kitty cuddles, reading and sleeping 8+ hours a night.
I have had to reckon with the part of me that feels like rest is non-productive and indulgent.
After all, we live in a culture that profits off of our hyper-productivity.
This is coming back to baseline.
This is kindness to my nervous system.
This is what winter is for.
